Save A Horse

Every student in the IMPART program gives at least one presentation dealing with their current work or their speciality, such as last week with Samantha Ballard’s presentation on lever harps, their tuning, and composing for them. This week Diana Brownie gave a presentation on dance, outlining its history in western society, the different genres in current practice, and discussing some of the differences between genres. She also demonstrated the attitudes and terms for different poses (helping us to communicate better when working on new pieces) and then went on to teach the entire class some line dancing. We’re ready for “So We Think You Can’t Dance” any time now.
