Motion and colour

Pairs are working on new pieces, for studio performance next week. Their current assignment: create a piece that involves motion sensing or colour tracking of the performer. Very cool things happening in the studios!

We’re off and running!

The class is happening, with a lovely collection of programmer/composer/musician/dancer types, all of whom are quite up for the challenges! Groups are working on their first project, using GolfTrak and joystick controllers to control/synthesize audio in real time using gestures.
